As a UK localiser I adjust language in dialogue scripts for games, test linguistics and have tracked bugs on a number of products. Localisation from US to UK English is often considered unnecessary by publishers but for certain genres and games for younger age groups it can prove vital. Apparently ‘getting lucky with a guy’ in America just means him liking you. Pictured are a few of the games I have worked on.
